Reflexology uses the feet as a pattern for the physical body. The earliest evidence of Reflexology being used was in ancient Egypt where there are clear pictures of therapists working on people, sometimes using sticks rather than fingers on the persons' feet.

The person lies on a comfy couch while the therapist works very lightly over the feet, assessing the reflexes and  stimulates or calms  the energy in the various reflex zones once they have been 'read' by the therapist. Most people find a reflexology session extremely relaxing, so much so that even those with the most ticklish of feet don't find it tickly!

Each session would normally last around one hour with the aim to be restoration of balance and harmony for the individual.
